[En Ingles] - Comentario de un user sobre el abandono de Opera Browser

It could be different If I was someone who didn't know what you had with Opera 12.x and I had recently started using the New Opera.

But what's with all the down sizing and no new Ideas ?

All I've seen from you in the past months is stabilizing a chromium build and shutting down everything that made you different from the rest of the browsers and companies.

What's so hard to reImplement at the new Opera? the uselessness and featureless nature of chromium ? or are you trying to keep things SIMPLE for the users ?

how about going back to IE 4.0 when things were simpler and users wouldn't get lost in between all the tabs ! how about disabling Tabs and just let users play with one window at each time ?! THAT would be simple enough for Normal Users... wouldn't it ?

one would think now that you don't have to spend countless hours on maintaining a rendering engine, you would start bringing new Ideas to this chromium clone... you would at least try something about the looks so that it wouldn't be a spitting image of a Chrome clone ?

so let's see... what's new and different from chromium ?

* the style is the same.

* the renderer is the same (meaning it can never get better and faster than what other clones are)

* The simplicity and uselessness is the same.

* Main Menu is the Same

* the Settings are the same.. don't believe me ?! take a look at these options at chrome and check what's different :
On Start-up , Search & Manage Search Engines, Default Browser, Show Advanced Settings, Privacy , Passwords and Forms, WebContent, Proxy, Languages & Input, Certificates, H/W Acceleration, Flags, etc...

* even the new features which you have been delivering are things that were already present in chrome...

Well then what have you been doing all these months ? Stabilizing & Implementing new features ?! or recoding everything to make it work with your build ? Making sure that users don't get to change default advertising settings ? or just making a down sized Chromium with Speed Dial & a Bookmark Bar?

and at what cost ? you got rid of everything that made Opera... Opera...

* Opera Mail is gone.

* Customizations are gone.

* Notes are gone.

* Vertical Side Panel is gone...

* Feed reader is gone.

* useful Settings aren't there anymore.

* even some gestures and shortcuts and their modifications are gone...

and when are you going to bring them back ? with the way you're headed now, it seems never... maybe at Opera 73 we could start experiencing something new & different from what Google says is right for the users...

Aaaaah... I'm too angry at you for everything you did to Opera...

All these months I kept telling myself that it'd start changing... that you'd start differentiating yourselves from Google & Chrome...

But no... it seems you're on the "GOOGLE FOLLOWER" track and you don't seem to want to be getting out of that track anytime soon...

It just hurts to see all these changes to a browser & a company you once Loved so much...

anyway... thanks for the hard work... at least you're doing something...I just wish it's results weren't like the way it is now...
